I bought my home about 4 years ago. The hot tub didn't work. I called to get it serviced. Jeff came out within a day or two. Ordered a motor and within a few more days I was enjoying the hot tub. About 4 years later (last week) I called Jeff and told him about the bubbler not working. Sent him photos with specs on the motor. He researched and ordered a new motor. A week later, Jeff came over and replaced motor and again, I was back enjoying the full use of the hot tub. I am sold on Jeff's service and knowledge.

You epoxied a Crack in my 30+ year old Sundance Mardi Gras Spa and fixed the slow leak from the pump to the heater on June 12th. Still had a slow leak and I, then, ordered and poured in the Spa Sealer but the Heat Sensor started to leak and you came out on 7/6, the next day, to fix that leak and, now, the Tub leaks no more. Thanks again Jeff. Would recommend you highly.

My home's 22 year old master bath's Passport Ensemble Bath spa-tub had been giving me trouble for a couple of years. In short, the air/water pump was intermittently failing to start or only staying on for a few minutes when it did operate. This late summer I vowed to figure out the problem before the snow started flying here in Minnesota. After googling the manufacturer's name I alarmingly determined the company was long out of business. I began to get worried and was seeing $ for the repairs and/or tub replacement. After having both a plumber and an electrician visit we thought we narrowed the issue to be electrical, specifically the Sensatron control box gadget. I then continued looking on-line for companies that maybe had experience, or at least mentioned my tub's name in their website. Low and behold I came across a company far from Minnesota, in Michigan! I sent a rather extensive e-mail outlining my dilemma to the website. Very soon after I received a reply and advice from Jeff from their staff. We then together nailed down the problem though a couple more e-mails and a phone call or two. Jeff had the needed replacement control box and shipped it to me. My electrician came back one final time to swap-out the faulty box. Jeff is a true professional and without his experience we would still be sitting in a bubble-less spa tub.

Jeff Delamar solved the disabling electronic problems with my Hotwinds SKD-4 Infrared Sauna located in North Carolina. For months, I had no success in finding anyone in NC with the expertise to bench test the electronic components, damaged by mice, and to provide quality replacement parts. Jeff and I communicated by email and phone. The damaged parts , removed and labeled by me, were shipped to Spa Tec, bench tested and quality electronic replacement parts were ordered. Jeff wired and labeled the electronics and shipped them back to me in a total of about 18 days. I plugged in the new system and the sauna has worked perfectly ever since. Financial transactions went smoothly and safely. Plus, I have a 5 year warranty on the parts. There were no unwanted surprises. I am very pleased. Jeff did what none of the previous 4 companies I called could do! He solved my problem! I made the mistake of looking for "Spa/Hot Tub Sales" when I did my search for repairs. I didn't realize that companies who SELL hot tubs, even though they may have a service department, doesn't mean they know how to MAINTAIN a hot tub! I hired 4 different, highly rated companies, whom each sent their service technicians to my house. It cost me over $500 in service fees. My problems kept getting worse and worse, as each new Technician disconnected one more thing or another. FINALLY, the last sales company recommended that I call Jeff. He is a miracle worker who knows his stuff inside and out! My hot tub is now healthy to use again and we enjoy it nightly! Don't bother with places that SELL the tubs...go to Jeff who knows how to MAINTAIN and REPAIR them!

The relatively few times we've had mechanical issues over the past twenty years have proven Jeff's knowledge of spas, he has always immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem and had the parts with him to repair it. Also our well water is a bit tricky to keep at a neutral pH so early on Jeff was so helpful to me while I learned how to deal with it. And if he can assist me over the phone without having to come out he does so, he is VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED going the extra mile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jeff at Spa Tec without reservation.

Jeff has always been so helpful in fixing and maintaining our spa. We love the therapeutic effects of the water therapy. We have recently had some health issues which made the use of the spa a real challenge! Jeff was very helpful being creative and figuring how the tub could still be helpful and accessible. Because of his creative thinking, concern, and flexibility, we now have a tub which is therapeutic and accessible! As he said, we have a spa that has gone from an almost unusable 90's model to an accessible, therapeutic, and very relaxing 2013 model!

For the 1st time in 16 years I filled our hot tub only to watch the fresh water drain away quicker than it filled up! Frustrated...but with a recommendation from our pool man who knew of Spa Tec's work I made a call. Jeff came out within 3 days to give us the scoop...not good...but it wasn't long and we watched him step by step make a plan and complete a major repair neatly and completely! Corresponding via emails and phone worked seamlessly and his promptness became the "norm". We are very pleased with Spa Tec and Jeff's knowledge and skill repairing our tub and are back enjoying it fully!

I am the homeowner. Jeff first did work for me several years ago when the installer of our hot tub did not want to service it. The pump and controls for the tub were under the deck and hard to get to. They decided they did not want to mess with the job. I contacted Jeff and he repaired the tub without any complaints.
When refurbishing our hot tub Jeff did a fantastic job from start to finish. I was thinking we were going to need to install a new hot tub. Since our tub was still in great condition Jeff suggested we update everything on the system that was showing it's age - pump, controller, heater, cover, leveling it with new boards along the sides. What a fantastic job Jeff did and his recommendations were right on. He saved us thousands of dollars - thank you Jeff.
Jeff is a man of integrity that desires to do the job right. He will stick with you through making sure you are pleased with the job. I highly recommend Jeff to take care of your spa needs.

When looking for a new spa cover, we stumbled upon Spa Tec, and are so glad we did! The other companies we checked with would order one, but we had to supply measurements, model, etc. When I called Spa Tec, Jeff came out and measured, checked out our setting and was able to assure us that he worked directly with a company in the local area that would make the cover to his specifications for our climate in Michigan. We felt much more confident that we would be getting the best product for our money. And while measuring, he provided us with information on sanitizing, chlorinating, etc. It was great to work with someone that was not a hot tub salesman, but who works with all hot tubs and is not bias.
And did I mention Jeff came back and installed the new cover and disposed of our old cover. We will continue to do business with Spa Tec and highly recommend them to anyone with a hot tub.

AFTER TRYING TO REPAIR MY HOT TUB MYSELF, CHANGING OUT THE
HEATING ELEMENT AND THE CIRCUIT BOARD, IT STILL DIDN'T WORK, I FOUND SPA TEC ON LINE AND SEEING THEY WERE LOCAL , WITH A GOOD STANDING ON THE BBB ,I CALLED. I EXPECTED THAT WHEN THEY SHOWED UP THEY WOULD BE VERY UNHAPPY THAT I HAD TRIED TO DO THE WORK MYSELF, AS OPPOSED TO JUST CALLING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE .
I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESPECT AND THE SERVICE I GOT, THEY LISTENED AND THEY RAN SOME CHECKS, TURNS OUT THE BOARD WAS A MULTI USE BOARD AND ONE OF THE SWITCHS WAS IN THE WRONG POSITION FOR MY SPA, ONE QUICK TRIPPING OF THE SWITCH, AND IT WAS OFF AND RUNNING. I WAS SO CLOSE, BUT IT TOOK JEFF NO TIME, HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND DID A GREAT JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WITH HOT TUB PROBLEMS.
